YES is investing in a NEW METAL ROOF!

YES-Shelter fro Youth & Families
At YES, we provide necessary supports to our clients, thanks to your generous donations and support we can offer so much more. The past few months have been an incredibly busy time at YES, with some exciting programs being offered to our clients. These resources are made possible thanks to support from community members such as yourselves!
In addition to our regular supports such as the Carriage House, a Food and Clothing Cupboard, Emergency Shelter there has also been  the introduction of a Circus Arts Program, Family Reconnect and a Speaker’s Development Training Program.
To learn more about how your support has changed the lives of our clients, click here to read our latest newsletter.
There will be an opportunity to hear some youth speak about their experiences at YES and learn more about our success in the past year at our Annual General Meeting. You are invited to join YES Staff and volunteers on Wednesday July 20 at the Lion’s Club on Burnham Street for a BBQ between 5-6pm and meeting from 6-7pm. Please RSVP here. We hope to see you there. Thank you for your continued support!

YES IS INVESTING IN A NEW METAL ROOF!

YES is investing in a new metal roof for our emergency shelter so we can provide safety and warmth to youth and families for decades to come. In recent years, out emergency shelter is almost at or beyond capacity. This stretches our resources. So, it was distressing to both staff and clients this past winter when a small leak started in our family section. We were able to fix the leak, but YES is in need of a new long-lasting roof. We welcome your support to meet our fundraising goal of $32,000 for a new metal roof. Please go to www.yesshelter.ca or go to Canada Helps to donate.
