Electric City Gardens is hosting a fundraising dinner for the Education and Health Promotion Programs of CMHA HKPR on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6:00 p.m.! This is a three course dinner, featuring the Elizabethan cuisine of William Shakespeare’s time. A choice of entrée of either Cornish Hen, prepared with bacon and sage or a Shrimp Pie will be accompanied by traditional vegetables and a desert, featuring Shrewsbury cakes! This unique dinner will be prepared by Cordon Bleu Chef Toby Tylor, of Electric City Gardens. Musical entertainment will feature the lovely voice of Nika Klimash.
Over the past year CMHA HKPR has presented education and health promotion to over 5,000 individuals, including over 800 people receiving certificate courses in Suicide Intervention Skills and Mental Health First Aide. Public Education takes place in schools, businesses, church and community groups to ensure that the education is available to help break the stigma of mental illness and lead more people to seek support, in their journey to wellness. CMHA HKPR is reliant on donations to ensure these programs continue.

Tickets are $75 per person (tax receiptable for $40) for a three course dinner!
