Public Energy’s Annual Fundraiser Featuring The Runway Challenge

Withgreat music, food, a silent auction and extra special surprises, this fabulous evening celebrating the inventiveness and diversity of art-making is a great night out. Artist and community groups create wearable works of art to strut, slide, shake and otherwise dance down the Market Hall catwalk, with stunning results. Previous creations have included a dress made from200 pennies, a fruit leather outfit, chandelier hats and more. The Runway Challenge is the highlight of the night, in which five artist are invited to each make an outfit solely from materials sourced from five business partners. The catch is that the businesses have nothing to do with fashion or fabric!
Get the best view up close to the runway, with a table seat. Tables for two, three or four available by calling Public Energy at 705-745-1788.
