BE A KID FOR A DAY

The Foundation looks forward to another successful Be a Kid for a Day to be held at Camp Kawartha on Saturday May 24th.
We invite teams from the Peterborough and surrounding areas to take part in this fun-filled day of corporate challenges including Voyageur Canoe Races, high ropes, wall climbing, fire making and much more.
At the end of the day participants can enjoy a wine tasting, silent auction, camp style dinner and a rousing awards ceremony.

All proceeds go to our summer camp fund.

Camp Kawartha offers a variety of day camps for ages 4-12 and residential/overnight camps for ages 7-17, with a focus on self-esteem, leadership, and environmental stewardship.
 


Programs include:

* Kinder Day Camp for ages 4 – 5

* Day Camps for ages 5 – 8

* Environmental Day Camps for ages 6-12

* Residential Camps for ages 7 – 14

* Tripping Programs for ages 11 – 16

* Leadership Programs for ages 15 – 17

Activities include: archery, arts & crafts, basketball, canoeing, climbing wall, dance, drama, eco skills, guitar, high ropes, kayaking, sailing, swimming, tripping, volleyball, windsurfing.

Special Events:

* Summer Camp Open House in early June

* Mini Kawartha Day for Campers & Parents in late June
